Looking Back: What Did You Learn?

Today, we explored more than just grammar or vocabulary.

We talked about our mental well being using english language.

You practiced giving advice with expressions like:

  • You should...

  • It’s important to...

  • Due to...

  • That’s why...

  • Try to...

You also thought deeply about why mental health matters and what can happen when we don’t talk about it.

Now it’s time to pause and reflect. What did you take away from this lesson, not just as a language learner, but as a human being?

💬 Reflection Prompts

Take a few quiet minutes to answer these questions.
You can write in your notebook, post in the comments, or share in a voice note:

  1. What is one new thing you learned today, about mental health, English, or even yourself?

  2. Which sentence or idea stood out to you the most? Why?

  3. Was there a moment that felt personal or emotional for you? Describe it (if you feel comfortable).

  4. How do you feel now compared to when you started the class?

  5. What advice would you give your past self, using one of today’s connectors?

Example: “You should have taken a break sooner.”
“Due to too much stress, I forgot to care for myself.”

Final Thought

Learning a language is more than memorizing words, it’s learning how to express what matters.

So keep going. Keep reflecting.
And don’t forget: Your words have power. Use them to connect, to support, and to grow.
